I believe a house is a place to live; home is a place to belong.

That’s why my team and I love to create personalized spaces with meaningful details that reflect what is most important to each client. The interiors we design are customized to reflect who our clients are as people, and to help them intentionally create the lives they want to live.

Stylish, Yet Kid-Friendly Family Room

In our Lemon Bay Family Home project, this meant designing a family room that would delight our stylish clients- and hold up to life with their three children. We delivered this busy family a put-together space including durable materials, opportunities for storage around the room, and sofas deep enough to lie down and cuddle on. The aesthetic is sophisticated and grown up, but also casual enough to be welcoming for all. The ivory drapery is a cleanable, heavyweight cotton that glows in the sunlight, enhancing the warm, happy feel of this family space.

A Rec Room for Crafts, Books, and Rocks Too

Over at our Lake House Zen project, a Western New York vacation home for three generations of our client’s family to share, the lowest of 3 levels is designed as a rec room space. A craft table for kids and grownups alike, a craft supply storage nook with custom organizers, a gallery wall to display this creative group’s photos and artwork, a library that offers room to grow a book collection, and comfy seating to gather are just the beginning. We even designed custom drawers with glass windows through the wood countertop to view the most impressive specimens from the family’s rock collection.

A Golf Lover’s Dream Come True

Back in Florida, at our Eaglescliffe Golf Retreat project we created a traditional, country club inspired den for this newly retired couple to relax and enjoy. The inspiration for this room came from both the golf course location of the home, and our client’s passion for the sport. The room features deep, cozy lounge seating to sink in and watch a game, remote-controlled window shades, two pub tables for when a crowd comes to gather, and a comfortable sofa bed for extra guests to stay the night.

Beauty Meets Function in the Family Foyer

Meanwhile, we designed a small garage vestibule as a feature-rich Family Foyer, customized to our client’s daily rhythms. A bench carved out from under the stairs (no wasted space here!) provides a comfortable place to put on and remove shoes. A stained wall panel with hooks provides a durable and convenient place to hang up dog leashes, and the double duty bench/shelf below is a perfect place to set down bags and groceries. A sense of spaciousness is created by a wall of shallow, custom storage surrounding a central mirror for light, depth, and a last look on the way out the door.

We design the spaces, where you design your life.

Full-service, custom interior design delivers even more than what someone may have pinned on Pinterest, or liked on Instagram.

Each ARI project’s style and solutions are different, because each of our clients is different. Their tastes, goals, values, lifestyles, and routines are each so unique. The more a client lets us get to know them, the more the custom interiors we design for their homes will reflect and support who they are and what they find most important. It is our pleasure and pride to design the spaces to specifically support, and enhance, the lives our clients design for themselves and their loved ones.

Warm wishes,
