Angela Rodriguez Interiors is currently seeking an intermediate-level interior designer to join our team in the position of Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate has a talent and passion for selecting FF&A, a sophisticated aesthetic consistent with that of the firm, and great customer service and communication skills, along with a friendly and helpful attitude.

In this role, the designer will focus 90% on our luxury residential FF&A projects. Duties include:

  • Select fabrics, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings for assigned projects following an established, overall design concept
  • Serve as the local, Sarasota complement to a Senior Interior Design Associate who is located remotely, as an integrated team
  • Function as a primary communications representative to clients and collaborators, on behalf of the team
  • Produce furniture plans, and limited other drawings as needed, in AutoCAD software
  • Meet directly in-person with clients and contractors
  • Schedule and direct furnishings installations
  • Visit project sites and review work in progress
  • Visit local vendor showrooms as needed for project sourcing and sampling
  • Communicate with custom furniture fabricators and workrooms
  • Help provide a “they’ve thought of everything,” five-star, luxury experience for our clients

Requirements for this position are:

  • 3+ years professional experience in the interior design field (at least 2 years specifically in high-end residential)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design strongly preferred
  • Experience and expertise with creating beautiful, cohesive fabric palettes
  • Demonstrated ability to interact well with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Proficiency in InDesign
  • 2D drafting proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to productively receive direction, work well with others, and work independently
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Great communication skills, both oral and written
