STORY: Recently completed, this new construction, custom home is now the perfect retreat for our clients from New England, and their entire family, to relax and make memories together. ARI was hired pre-construction to fully design the interior, and exterior living spaces, of this family's own sunny, tropical oasis.
The exterior of the home is British West Indies inspired, and the interior is a bright and airy, clean-lined coastal. Yacht-inspired touches are also sprinkled throughout this boater's paradise. The great room ceiling with its crisp wood coffers is one of the home's most memorable features. Other special interior features include stone accent walls, ARI-designed custom cabinetry, chilled custom wine display, and a luxurious color and materials palette inspired by the home's natural surroundings. Waterfront views, sweeping across the Ringling Bridge and Downtown Sarasota, are celebrated and framed by custom window treatments throughout.
The kitchen features both white oak and painted white cabinetry, with accent of antiqued mirror, polished nickel hardware, and a subtle Venetian plaster finish on the gracefully sweeping range hood. Lantern fixtures of a grand scale are paired over the kitchen island, a blend of elegant and casual. The quartzite slabs were hand selected for their continuous, parallel vein pattern with the graceful waves of the sea. The same quartz is cut into a custom sidesplash at the back wall cabinetry, introducing another hint of soft curve, an unexpected detail that quietly speaks to the beauty of the custom-designed kitchen.
The home's 5 1/2 baths are each like a personal spa oasis for every family member and guest, complete with natural stone, custom cabinetry, integrated lighting and technology, and luxurious fixtures. This home is truly an island paradise.
